#1

I feel like this is so true because when I personally listen to black metal I feel as if it takes me to another place. But in all reality, I'm just chilling out in my room being weird.
#2

This is actually a really good show if you guys havent heard of it it's called Metalocalypse. This show is usually aired on Adultswim and for a little while it was on Netflix.
#3

Lmao this is seriously me!
#4

I've been dying to see a good concert lately :/
#5

I usually always have my windows down in my car and I secretly hope there would be a cute guy who drives up next to me and is playing some good music. But that's not ever going to happen..
#6

I just think this is funny because in the movie which this is from (Forest Gump) he is listing off types of shrimp instead of metal.
#7

Yeah I honestly would go around town scaring people with this shirt.
#8

So the story with this is that Kendal Kardashian saw that Gary Holt was wearing this shirt, she got butt hurt, then wore a Slayer shirt. I think she did this to somewhat show Gary that she saw the shirt he was wearing. But honestly, I think it's petty on her part because he isn't going to care if it hurt her feelings or not.
#9

Olve Eikemo from Abbath
#10

I CANNOT EXPLAIN HOW MANY TIMES THIS HAS HAPPENED TO ME BUT VISE VERSA!!!\\

Top 5 Favorite Bands

#1 Pantera
Image result for pantera
(Rex,Phil,Vinnie, Dimebag Darrell)
Pantera is not only my favorite band but it is also a revolutionary band. Pantera has influenced not only me but many other people in the music industry. Once I discovered Pantera it got me interested in looking for more music to listen to. Pantera led me to listen to bands like Slayer and Metallica. I've always looked up to Dimebag and he is the reason why I play guitar. I enjoy playing and I have to credit that to him, because if it wasn't for him I honestly probably wouldn't have ever started playing.

Why is he so perfect ðŸ™ƒ

Here is a pretty cool article about 20 facts that you probably didn't know about Pantera.
#2 Slayer

(Gary, Tom, Kerry, Paul)
I honestly really enjoy Slayers music because of how heavy it is. Slayer is also just a really good classic old school metal band. I've noticed I enjoy the older metal bands more than the newer metal bands. But there are some newer bands that I do enjoy but very few. How many of you have heard Slayer's new album? I think it's pretty good.

#3 Metallica
Image result for metallica
(Robert, Lars, James, Kirk)
Metallica was the first metal band I got into. Before I discovered Metallica I was just listening to whatever was on the road and not really caring much for it. From what I have observed Metallica seems to be the #1 band that gets people listening to metal and adventuring more into the music scene. It's on my bucket list to get to see Metallica at least once in my lifetime. After wanting to learn guitar because of Dimebag I started learning Metallica songs from old tab books my dad had. The first song I learned was Fade to Black I fell in love with the intro and decided I would work hard and be able to play it no matter what. Now today I can practically play any Metallica song.

#4 Sepultura
Image result for sepultura
Although the band had a lot of member's come and go they made great music. Then there was a time that Max had to let go and he went off and started his own projects such as Nailbomb, Soulfly, Killer be Killed, and Cavalera Conspiracy. All of Sepultura's old songs when Max was still around are great. I'm going to be honest once Max left I truly didn't feel the need to listen to them anymore. I remember when I went on vacation to Las Vegas once we got into Utah I was nonstop listening to Sepultura just because the music really fits in with the scenery. For those of you who don't know, they actually filmed the song Territory on an Indian Reservation in Utah.

#5 Death
Image result for Death band
(Chuck, Gene)
Death is what got me into death metal. Chuck is also another guy who I look up to. He was a great guitar player and it's a shame he is no longer with us. The band is honestly very influential in the death metal genre. Without these guy's there wouldn't have been a platform for death metal to grow off of. The band has had A TON of members but Chuck is the main man who has been with the band since day one. Death is a band that has had an impact on me.

Megadeth Concert Review

Megadeth, Amon Amarth, Suicidal Tendencies, Metal Church, and Butcher Babies (Havok did not get together for this)
Image result for megadeth council bluffs
I'm going to be honest with you all I personally do not like Butcher Babies or Megadeth ( I'm more of a Metallica fan). BUT this concert was honestly a blast! Once I heard SUICIDAL TENDENCIES was on this tour I was super excited!
Image result for excited gif
I must thank my friend Jaydon for hooking me up with some tickets!
Butcher Babies
I think it was super cool that after their set they hung out with people in the crowd - I give them props for that. Their set list wasn't very long.
Metal Church
These guys did a great job warming up the crowd. Once they got done performing I was ready to see Suicidal Tendencies!
Suicidal Tendencies

For these guys being old man they still rock! The energy they gave off was electrifying. Mike also came through the crowd after the show a bunch of my friends got photos with him. I saw him walking up into the second level floor so I ran out and tried to get a picture with him but he vanished. These guys were definitely worth seeing.
Amon Amarth
Like always Amon Amarth put on a great show. They didn't have as much theatrical stuff like they had when I first saw them but they did bring out the Viking ship and had some pretty cool backgrounds they would switch out. A couple of my friend said it was their first time seeing Amon Amarth and that they were going to listen to them some more because of how well they performed live.
Megadeth
There intro on the video board
Megadeth was one of my bucket list bands to see live. I personally do not care for their music just because I don't like Dave's vocals, but I'm happy I got to see them before they call it quits. Their show reminded me of when I saw Black Sabbath mainly because they used a video bored and Black Sabbath also did that. I didn't stay the whole time because 1 I don't listen to them and 2 I really did not want to wait in my car all night trying to get out of my parking spot lol.

So here is my review on Megadeth's tour I hope you all enjoyed it and if you went to the same concert leave a comment bellow on where you saw them and what you though about it (:

Knot Fest 2012 Council Bluffs IA
Knot Fest was my very first concert, and it was amazing! The festival I attended was August 17, 2012, in my hometown Council Bluffs, Iowa at the Mid-America Motorplex. I remember walking up to the gates and seeing a bunch of guys doing really cool tricks on their motorcycles, it was unlike anything I had ever seen before. The festival featured big top tents that looked like a circus, rides, food, and crowd performers. The lineup was: Slipknot, Deftones, Lamb of God, Dethklok, Serj Tankian, The Urge, Prong, Machine Head, and Dirtfedd.
This was one of my favorite crowd performers.
My favorite truck that was at the festival was full of Dimebag Darrell photos, a guitar signed by Darrell, and other items as well. His wife was at the stand taking pictures with fans who had tattoos or any merchandise with Dimebag on it. I remember her asking if she could take a photo of my dad's tattoo he has of Dimebag playing guitar. For those who do not know of Dimebag Darrell, he was the guitar player in a band called Pantera. Dimebag's birthday is August 20th which was only three days after the concert.

At this show, it was my first time every experiencing what a wall of death is like. Let me tell you.. it is excited yet horrifying because you do not know if you are going to end up inside that pit with everyone else. It was almost as if I could smell my own fear tickling my nose, and it felt as if my heart had dropped into my stomach. Machine Head is the band that opened the wall of death up at this show.
A view of the crowd.

I remember going to this concert and not really caring for it much. But at the time Hollywood Undead was "the thing" so I do remember singing in the crowd with people and being too short to even see the stage. But yeah ... This was probably the lamest concert I ever went to.
Rock Fest 2014 Council Bluffs IA

Rock Fest 2014 is where I met one of my good friends who I still talk to today. This was the first time I ever saw Hellyeah, and Black Label Society live. They were pretty much the only bands I cared to see. Hellyeah always puts on a good show but the older male audience likes to get violent during their shows; which honestly really sucks for everyone else because you are trying to protect yourself the whole time rather than enjoying the show. I came close to catching Vinnie Pauls drumstick but it was snatched out of my hand :/

This was actually a really cool concert for me because my friend Jesse's band opened up for the show. I remember him up on stage and point to me to go backstage to say hello. I attended this concert with my best friend Ayessa, my little sister, and my little brother.
Here is a photo of all of us in my car on the way to the show (Me, Ayessa, Caitlyn, Mathew)
Something that was very weird about this show (that wasn't really a new thing for me) was that guys were constantly hitting on me. I've noticed as a girl in the metal community guys will try to sweep you off your feet right away. But this guy who was hitting on me happened to be 60 years old and persistently kept following me around until I found my dad and had him protect me. It was a super uncomfortable situation for me. But I didn't let that stop me from enjoying the show! My friend Alex who I met at Rock Fest 2014 showed up and hung out with me the whole entire night.

The weather at this show did really suck it got super cold at night and I decided to go home early.

I attended this concert with my sister and dad. We were front row to see crowbar and Soulfly! Once we found out that Soulfly was going to be in town we flipped! My dad actually Surprized me with meet and greet passes to meet Max Cavalera (the singer of Soulfly)! I was so excited I honestly didn't know how to control myself! After the show, we went straight to his tour bus and got to sit and talk to him for a little while. Max signed my dads Soulfly Shirt and he signed a Soulfly patch for my sister and me!
This is the patch Max Signed for me

Everyone Singing Together
Machine Head Lincoln NE

This concert was unique there was no opening band or anything it was just Machine Head all night long. I remember having to leave super early to get to this show since the drive was about an hour away. I attended this concert with my dad and sister. We were the first ones at the door and I'm glad we were because we were front row right in front of Phil Demmel (the guitar player). I ended up catching three guitar picks and I gave one to my dad, my sister, and then I kept one for myself (: As the concert was coming to an end they played a song tribute to Dimebag Darrell called "Aesthetics of Hate" it was absolutely amazing how many people in the audience were singing along!

A really good photo I got of Robb Flynn

Cannibal Corpse Omaha NE
I remember hearing that Cannibal Corpse was coming to Omaha and being absolutely 110% stoked! I called up my dad and asked him he wanted to go with me. My dad's friend used to talk to him about Cannibal Corpse but he never really bothered to check them out. Since I asked him to go, he caved and tagged along.
Walking into the show we stopped at the merchandise table and bought matching Cannibal Corpse long sleeve shirts.
Wearing these shirts would be amazing for a Family photo (:
After the opening band, Cattle Decapitation came out to play I could tell my dad was enjoying the show more. I though Cattle Decapitation was alright, they put on a good show, but definitely not as good as Cannibal Corpse Did!

They really did an amazing job

Misfits Council Bluffs IA

This show was probably one of my first shows I showed up alone to. I still had a great time! This concert was called 6 rounds of punk featuring The Misfits and Dead Kennedy's. The energy at the concert was very laid back and that's why I love Punk Rock. You don't have to worry about anything around punks, the punk rock community doesn't care if you don't have dyed hair or if you don't own a single patch or have any tattoos - we are all united through music.

Rob Zombie Council Bluffs IA

My buddy Alex took me to this show. It wasn't as fun as I thought it would be only because some 40-year-old man tried to fight me. That's one thing I absolutely hate dealing with at concerts is all the drunk people. If you are going to drink then STAY HOME! Why would someone want to spend money on booze and a concert ticket just to end up ruining other people's time at the show and eventually being kicked out of the show? It's just stupid in my opinion. If you are going to go to a show go to support the band not to get trashed.

Another concert I attended alone. On my way walking to the venue from where I parked, some chick asked me if I wanted to buy meth and I just kept walking (I was honestly so scared). But once I got there everything was fine (: Some big security guard came outside a couple minutes before they let us in and told everyone that we couldn't record anything or take pictures, so unfortunately, I personally don't have my own photos from this concert (I will find one online).

Amon Amarth

This was definitely a fun show! One thing that I think was amazing was that it was storming outside so everything just fit really well. Entombed AD did a cover of Moonlight Sonata and it was unlike anything I'd ever heard before! I always think it is cool when metal bands turn classical songs into heavy metal. For my first time seeing Amon Amarth it was really neat! They put on a theatrical show with the music, it's actually pretty gnarly.
I found my two friends Sean and Samantha there (:

I had so much fun at this show I want it to come back so badly. The whole place was packed! The one thing that really did suck with this tour is that not everyone who was supposed to be there was there. Jungle Rot wasn't there because they also had to play a show in Des Moines IA the same day, which was a bummer :( I originally played to go alone but then I entered a contest to win tickets and I WON! I'm pretty sure the only reason why I won was because they had a question that said "Why should we give you tickets? (be creative!)" and I pretty much made a story out of Slayer songs saying what I would be doing if I didn't go to the show (even though I already had tickets..) so I used the two tickets I won to take my friend Cameo and my dad (:

Black Sabbath

I'm actually pretty glad that I got to see Black Sabbath before they all retired or died. It definitely wasn't the best show they put on. Ozzy had a lot of vocal issues but what can you expect he is getting old. Tony and Geezer are surprisingly still killing it! It was still an honor to get to see them.
I got nose bleed seats :/

TOMORROW I am going to see all the bands above ^ I feel like I should do a review of the concert and how it went for next weeks blog post. What do you guys think?

That's all the concerts I have been to, it's extremely late here so I am going to hit the hay!
